This brand new role has been created for an Account Manager to specifically work on a recently won IT account. This account is one of the largest and most active IT clients in the UK. Our client is supplying this company with the full range of technical applicants spanning their IT and Engineering divisions. Roles can range from Software Engineers, Testers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Programme Managers through to Director levels. Our client is one of four main suppliers within the IT and Engineering PSLs and this position has been confirmed for the next 2.5 years. They have been working with this client for 3 years and so are already established with them. The client has very ambitious plans for 2008 and have forecast a need for over 200 new Technical employees. We are looking for an experienced recruiter to take up the account management of this client. This will initally involve a) sourcing and placing applicants in a wide range of roles b) looking after existing contractor population and c) attending on-site meetings and conference calls as and when required. It is anticipated that this client will need additional staffing very soon, therefore the role will also involve assisting in hiring at least one Resourcer and managing their day to day workload. Clearly this is a key role within our clients business and so only an experienced and reliable recruitment professional will do. You need to have a proven track record of working within the IT sector and can talk confidentially about filling a wide variety of roles. You need to have worked with at least one large client (preferably multi-site) and be famililar with the level of service required. In addition you should have experience of working with Resourcers and motivating them through all their activities. Salary is £20-25K basic but this can be negotiable and commission will be 10-30% of all placement fees. This role will involve both contract and perm recruitment activity so it is anticipated you will be making commission in the 20 and 30% brackets very quickly. In summary this is the perfect role for a seasoned IT recruiter who is less interested in chasing new business.
